Dear Governors State University,
I am a penguin, and I have had a very difficult time this term. I realized that I do not know what my gender is! It seems that everywhere I go and everyone I meet and speak to has a gender. It seems like without a gender I don't know who I am, and people don't know how to understand me. I'd like to be clear on my gender like everyone else.

Until I met the friendly people in the Gay Straight Alliance (GSA) I did not have safe place to ask my questions. The GSA has convinced me that Governors State University is in fact a very safe environment to question my gender in. The GSA suggested that I ask the student body, staff and faculty what they think about my gender in order to help my questioning.
